Learn how to make a shawl w/ designs and appliqué with River Freebird. This workshop is a 3-part series. By agreeing to this session, you are agreeing to participate in all 3 sessions. Failure to attend this first session will no longer grant you access to the other sessions (studio sessions included). The dates for this workshop are as follows

• May 24, 2025, 11 am - 2 pm

Tentative Daily WS Schedule:

Saturday May 10th, 2024

• Introduction

• Review tools/supplies

• Learning the basics of the sewing machine

• Cut fabric, start hemming & finish if possible

• Homework: Think of how you want your shawl to look.

Saturday May 17th, 2024

• Finish hemming if necessary

• Begin applique work

• Begin fringe work

Saturday May 24th, 2025

• Open space for finishing the projects and extra help if needed
