Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration at the Fowler Museum
In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the Fowler Museum presents its inaugural celebration spotlighting the vibrant Native cultures of Southern California. This event brings together Indigenous artists, knowledge holders, and community leaders for a day of art-making, food, music, poetry, storytelling, and performance. Rooted in the themes of the Getty PST Art exhibition Fire Kinship, the program centers Indigenous perspectives on land, kinship, and traditional ecological knowledge.
